The rate is also the lowest published rate, with free cancellation on standard rates up to 72 hours before arrival.

Standard direct rates carry a 72-hour free cancellation window. Cancel by 3 PM Panama time three days before arrival, and there is no charge. A reservation cancelled within 72 hours carries the first night as non-refundable; the remainder returns as credit toward a future visit, valid for 12 months.
We ask for a decision. In return, we honor it fully.

Hotel Plaza Herrera hosts weddings, executive retreats, private celebrations, and full-property buyouts for groups of five suites or more. Dates are coordinated 12 to 18 months ahead. Suites, menus, and spaces are arranged in a single conversation rather than assembled from separate bookings.
Hotel Plaza Herrera is intentionally small. That makes a buyout a genuine buyout — not a wing, not a floor, not a section roped off to the side.

A few things are worth knowing before your stay.
High season in Casco Viejo runs from December through April. Three to six months ahead is advisable for those months — the Grand View and Historic Plaza suites fill earliest. For shoulder and low season, two to four weeks is typically sufficient. All suites are beautiful, but the standout suites rarely stay available for long.
Payment is accepted by all major credit cards, bank transfer for group and event bookings, and cash on arrival in USD or PAB. Bills can be split across guests or cards — let the front desk know at check-in.
